Taste Test in the Cafeteria

Students trying roasted pumpkin

Here at TES we value student feedback in all areas of the school community. The Sodexo and YCSD food service team put on a taste test featuring roasted pumpkin with cinnamon and sugar, olive oil, and salt. Students were able to taste a sample of the pumpkin, give feedback, and receive a recipe card to make it at home! The goal of the taste test was to have students try a new item that may be featured in the cafeteria. Here are some of our student reviews:

"I give it a 10/10. It was so yummy!" - 3rd grader

"3 stars! I thought I wouldn't like it but it was pretty good." - 4th grader

"7/10 it tasted like the inside of a pumpkin." - 1st grader

"9/10 I like the cinnamon flavor!" -5th grader

Here is the recipe if you would like to try it!
